I have a neon goby, green clown goby, firefish and a pair of rusty gobies in a 24 gallon. I just ended up with a porcelin crab. Size is between a quarter and half dollar. I don't keep any crabs not even hermits. I don't trust them with these small fish. I see that this crab is a filter feeder so I was wondering if anyone has experience with them and how safe it would be for me to put in my tank. For a filter feeder he has very large claws. So I would like opinions. Right now I have hime for sale but in case no one buys him what should I do?

most crabs are very opportunistic. I wouldn't personally have any type of crab in my tank (except for a few blue legged hermits) but especially with small fish like gobies.

I would try to sell him unless you have a fuge or sump you can put him in.

I have 4 in my 55 and never seen any signs of aggression from them. Pretty cool guys to own in my opinion they all hang out by the current fanning the water. I do give them some krill or silversides at least once a month just to hold them down.
