Some advice please? I have a small 3" Kole Tang who is not interesed in anything I offer to eat. I have tried Green Seawead, Purple Seaweed, Brown Algae, Green Algae, Algae pellets, Frozen Mysis, Frozen Brine, Frozen Bloodworms, Cyclopeze. The fish as not even gone near any of it. I currently have one false Perc and a Fox Face in the tank with the Kole which all and they get along fine. The Kole only seems interested in constantly grazing on my LR. The Kole does not look thin at all and is swimming and grazing well and I have had the fish for a little over a week now. Seeing that is all that interests the Kole I have tried attaching all of the said foods to the rock to see if that might entice it to eat. Nothing.....:irked:. I am wondering if whatever the Kole might be getting off of my LR will be enough to sustain it's dietary needs? And if not what else can I try?

Thanks

P.S. - let me also add that I watched the fish eat frozen Mysis well in the store before purchasing.

It may be that it is just getting its fill of algae off of your live rock. Once that food source is exhausted he will probably start eating the other food you offer. If you like you can try fresh clams on the half shell, live black worms, live brine shimp/mysis.

BTW, how long have you had him for?

I find these fishes are very hard to keep if you do not have a lot of live rock and film algae for them to graze on through out the day.Try frozen blood or black worms. They can be very aggesive towards other tangs simular in size if you decide to add another one at a latter date.
