New Fishies Added

well these have been in med MT or frag tank for who knows how long,the purple was in MT about 6-7 weeks and in the last week ive been acclimating it to my DT water the scopas in frag was in qt went to frag to wait for purple, is in about the same water as DT they are going into DT today im going to wait till around evening feeding to put them in,I have a yellow tang yellow eye kole and a sailfin already in DT,Also going to put the whipfin wrasse in he was also in MT with the purple all are very healthy and eating very well.

YES ITS FINALLY TIME

I really think they are going to be a great addition,Oh and the stuff you see is dirty glass or food floating i just fed them.

Sorry to say but these might have been the worse mix considering you have a yellow tng already,, But best of luck..

Yeah say goodbye to any future fish additions, and to your yellow tang lol i have a purple tang and only fish survived the new add even after new aquascapes was a sohal, and a clown tang so dont try any other tangs after it!

what size is your DT?

these are the last tangs and i figured since the yellow is the same size as the purple id be fine,if not then id go from there i have seen these fish exist with each other in same size tank as i have heck ive seen it in a 125g
my DT is 180g

Yellow tang will ended up having to back down from the PT. All fish bowed down to my tiniest of PT.lol I had a 2" & a 5" PT, and the meaner of the two was the little guy. Had them both until I put them in the fowlr, and lost them both last year.;(

It wasn't even the price. It was the fact that I was so attached to them.;( The big one came from my deceased bgf, and the little one I had rescued from an lfs after a year of watching it while I dealt with chemo & radiation. Had them for about 2 years only to loose them both at the same time.;( But that is this hobby's way.

well so far so good going on 48hrs or around there fish have some minor scrapes from the territorial fighting im keeping an eye on the scapes,i think things are starting to settle down
