I just bought a powder blue tang yesterday and having trouble feeding him. I put some green algae on a clip but he did not go near it. I threw in some mysis and he totally ignored that. any suggestions on enticing him to eat.

Thanks.

Mike, give him a little time to acclimate himself to his new surroundings.;) It takes fish time to get use to a new setting.
There are fish that you won't even see for days.;)

Brake up a small piece of the green algae sheet in a cup of water and pour it in the tank with the filters off .He may start eating the very small pieces first. This works for me.Give him time and some purple and brown algae in the future as well.

give some time, you may have acclimated it a little to fast. remember not to over feed the tank trying to get one fish to eat. try some live brine shrimp or black worms(live)
