blue spot jawfish w/ cloudy eye

I came back from work today to see my blue spot jawfish with a cloudy eye, just one. I'm not sure what caused this to happen overnight. I hear it may be a bacterial infection. I have a reef tank. what can i do to cure his eye? are there any reef safe medications to use?

i know he likes to roam around at night and even jumps a bit (i have a screen top). I checked my PH, its around 8.4. Is the eye injured from his nightly roams?

Could be possibly from abrasions on rocks or something in the sand... Can't tell for sure. Good luck though =X. Don't stress him out. If he's eating it should be fine. Feed lots of garlic dipped food.

yea he's acting normal and eating like a champ still. having a bit harder time finding food tho. i fortified all the food with selcon today.

It may not be cloudy. Sometimes my jawfishes seems to have a film over their eyes and it goes away later on!

hmm, perhaps. i will update today after i get back from work. reef reaper, does he only get it on one eye or both? my bluespot only has it on one.
