leopard wrasse

havent seen my leopard wrasse in days didnt jump as far as i can see can only see so much behind the tank,its not in the overflows since i have covers on them,anyone have any ideas? I to also have 2 pretty good size engineer godies but the leopard wasnt that small me engineer gobies are about 8" long.I did read that leopard wrasse's are good for burying themselves in sand beds,is this true i did rescently added a sand bed.Thx RJ

I love when members answer their own questions. Leopard wrasses are famous for hiding for several as they adjust to their new surroundings.

more then likely that's where he's at, in your sand bed. give him some time he'll come out.

be patient, I have seen them take upwards of one week to come out.

cool i figured thats what it was and now that he has a sand bed and for awhile he didnt he is probably enjoying himself.

I had a wrasse hiding in the sand bed for almost 4 days. After a week i would start digging.
