If they are stressed they will release a toxin that will basically fry your livestock. Thats why I have held off. I think they are not coral nippers tho.

Ive had several of them through the years and have never had one fry my tank. I'm sure it can happen but I'm not really concerned about that. I'm just worried about my snails and corals. I wish the sites that sell the fish if they say reef with caution they would explain. I know some eat shrimp some nip at lps some nip at sps others eat iverts it would be nice to know what they mean by caution.
Oh yeah if you do decide to get one and he doesnt eat at first they love romaine lettuce clipped to the inside of you tank.
