Adding a new fish

I have a 40 breeder reef tank and i have two tomatoe clowns with a pj cardinal and a yellow watchman goby. Can anyone recommend a fish to put in my tank thanks in advance.

be careful with those gobies i had two and my friend had one and they both jumped out to their deaths. try a yellow tang

Yellow tang is not a good option as it will outgrow my tank pretty quick

get a basslet or damsel, either one would be a great addition. i have the royal gramma, and i must say is my second favorite after kole tang.

i have had my 6line wrasse for over a year.very nice fish and i have pretty much the same fish load as you.2 false percs,1 watchmen,2 cardinals and a 6 line.everyone says how aggressive they are but i havent seen any of that in him.

My suggestion would be blue chromis,anthiases,royal gramma,blennies,fairy wrasses,sixline wrasses or dartfish if you have closed top and no anemones.Tangs need to eat alot to stay alive and healthy i wouldn't recommend any tangs for your 40 gal.

i agree with dre. no tangs in a fourty pls. i was just stating how much i love my tang. not suggestion you should get one.

I would got with a wrasse but I have a flasher Wrasse and he went capert surfing. Beautiful fish though. Maybe i need to make me an eggcrate cover. Does anyone know where to buy black eggcrate?

Ok i picked some up in Chinatown, and i decided to go with a flasher wrasse, but my dumb tomato clown is sort of chasing it, at first I thought it was RIP for the flasher wrasse since i put in the the tank for the firs 3 days there was no sign of life of him then he started to come out and now he eats. Thanks everyone.
