Flame Angels

Hello Everybody,

I bought a Hawaiian Flame Angel last week. He was doing great and looked nice and fat. He ate pellets, grazed on rocks, and some mysis for the two days that he was out and swimming.

Yesterday, he wasn't out and about swimming. I saw him swimming around in my rockwork within caves the first 3 days, but this morning... I couldn't find him.

Is there anything I should be freaking out about? I've read that some people couldn't find theirs for a few days and then it would be out and about.

My flame angel was very shy at first, now he is always seen swimming about the tank. I think you'll see him again.

Okay all. Just got home and literally this guy is NOWHERE to be found. Not on the floor, behind the tank, sump, etc. I have A LOT of rock.... do you think he died in a hole somwhere?

well it happened while i was a newbie... about 7 months in. but yea I had one that died after 2-3 days and I found him inbetween a rock.. where'd you get him?

Well... Here is an update.

I saw him last night under a base rock that I had and I tried to get him but he swam inside more. So I figured okay that's fine. I decided reaquascape with Chanman and another reefer today and... we took out all the rock and we still couldn't find him.

He's not in the overflow. Not on the floor. Not in the Rocks... Where did he go?

damn that sux... mine got bullied by 3 basslets ended up dead in a cave.. i couldnt beleive they did that to him i guess its because it was 3 vs 1... o wells basslets r gone now i only kept one.

Oh no he is definitely long gone. This was like 2 weeks ago and since then I have reaquascaped and took all the rock out. My fish are beasts and I am pretty sure they ate him.

Supposedly passive fish, but my god they eat like no other.
