Ok, so I figured I would get a Diamond Goby to keep my sand clean....and clean it is. Now I know he's doing his job and all, but ever since I added this little inch and a half fish, my tank seems hazy. Not exactly dirty, but not the gin clear water that it was before.

Will this clear up with time, or is it something that I'm going to have to deal with for the time I have this fish?

I have a 40g more or less cube 20L X 18W X 24H. My skimmer and LR are my filtration system. I'm running two Korilia 3's.

Any suggestions, or am I going to be posting him in the marketplace forum soon?

BTW....Nitrates..0, Nitrites..0, Phosphates..0, PH..8.2.

Thanks..........Eric.

Lol......Tell me about it. And he never, and I mean never stops. It seems the only time he does stop is when it's feeding time. Then he stops sifting and eats mysis. Then he goes right back to sifting. Nevermind the mountain he made around my LR. I mean he's a cool fish and all, but gimma break!

I have two in my reef and I don't have that problem. I'd think that it is because of the substrate being disrupted constantly by their aggressive sifting and the most powdery portion of the substrate constantly getting into the water column. of you have a sump, put a filter bag on the returns to the sump or some foam somewhere before the return pump section and that will end the problem. If you don't have a sump, just the constant skimming off and water changes will eventually end that very powdery stuff clouding the water in your tank. It could take a while though.

I had one. Had to get rid of him. He constantly covered my corals with sand(DAILY!!!). It got to the point that he killed a couple of corals. In my opinion, not a good fish for a reef tank.
