Mine is fairly large now, about 6-7", with a huma picasso trigger, banana wrasse, sohal tang, maroon clown, and zebra eel, all get along well, I had a porc. puffer, he nipped at his fins, so I would avoid one of those. Keep us posted on what you get, and how they make out!

i have 90g with lionfish around 9' if i get triggers they will be ok togetrher?
what kind of fish can i keep with lionfish?

Wow, that's a huge lionfish 9'.j/k

You can keep just about any fish that does not fit in the lion's mouth! But you will have to watch for nippers. I have been keeping lionfish since I got in the hobby some 7 or 8 years ago. They are actually the reason I am in the hobby. I love these guys and as long as I am in the hobby I will have one.;) Currently my lionfish is living peacefully with; blue throat trigger, pt, sft, tomini, scopas, gs maroon, flame angel, snowflake & zebra eels, ln hawk, and looking to add a niger trigger.
In the past I have kept them with more aggressive triggers, groupers with no problems, and dog face puffers with some nipping going on. The problem came when the lion got large enough and he swallowed the GS maroon pair I had one night.:irked: But then that is what will happen when you house them with smaller fish.
And yes, I am keeping an eye on the flame and the gs maroon currently in the fowlr with him.:tongue1:

Had a 4" Huma and a 6" V. Lion together for well over a year. Never had a problem with either. After the Lion was added, the trigger wouldn't allow any other new fish in the tank.

To be honest, the Lion never bothered any other fish in the tank. The Trigger was down right nasty!
