One of the most colorful, cool fish I've ever owned died today.
I must have gotten home shortly after it happened. His eyes hadn't even clouded up yet. His colors had not turned.
Joe was a crysitania wrasse, was best buddie of Telulah (yellow tang) and was barely tolerated by Clown (whom we barely tolerate, ourselves...)
I found him today underneath the RBTA, which has in the past month or so grown to about five times the size it was when it first came to my tank...
The tank's params were spot-on except for nitrates, but the nitrate test kit has expired, so I'll have to wait till Monday for a reliable measure of nitrates...
Water change tonight, I'll watch for more losses and hope that this is a sad but singular event...
