I?m setting up 90g aquarium and wanna keep volitan lionfish and Moray can they go along together what else I can keep in that aquarium (fish, what kind of invertebrates to control algae) any suggestions
Thanks
I have a snowflake eel and a zebra moray with a lionfish. They all get along fine. I should note that these eels are typically mild mannered and the lionfish is BIG. The murderous purple tang is the biggest PITA in that particular tank.
As Tangs Rule mentioned, there are some agressive eels that may try to make a meal out of a lionfish, or any other fish for that matter, if the fish is small enough.
I think any moray, including zebra and snowflakes, will eat inverts or fish small enough to fit in their mouth. I had a snowflake that ate small fish and attempted to eat bigger fish.
