Peach to Midas Blenny

Hello Guys,

I've had my Midas Blenny for about 2 months now. He is eating like a pig and swims happily around the tank, but I am curious... how long does it take for him to Yellow up fully?

Not all are yellow or will become yellow.

agree with deanos. my midas is more peach colored with streaks of yellow.

food, water quality and tank mates will also determine the color of a fish

He has quite a few yellow streaks. Gotta get a close up picture of him.

Water quality is definitely okay. It's probably the tank mates that would make him nervous lol.

I would say his natural color is the color when you feed him. Where did you get yours? I got mine from NY aquarium services.

I got him back around Thanksgiving...when they JUST got like three in

have you noticed that the midas' stomach gets really shrunken if he doesnt eat for a day?

Uh... I know what you mean but mine has always been fatjust not super yellow

at least he's not brown. some variations don't even have the peach color. i personally love the bright yellow streaks on their faces.
