I need advice quicker than it will take me to read a book with a full time job and two babys running around the house. Just want them to have a chance and don't even know where to start. Can the eggs be removed and given to someone that can raise them? How long do i have before they hatch?

rgun not for nuthin but If you have no cultures going and its the fishes first nest i would let it go and start doing your homework. raising fry is a full time job for 2 weeks after the hatch. Im sorry to say you are gonna have to let this nest pass. you dont want to move anything in the tank right now. just let it play out.

Clowns will lay eggs every 2 weeks or so, you dont have much time to get ready for the next one. definetly get the book Joyce Wilkerson's Clownfish. you will need to buy some starter culture for rottifiler and make a BBS hatcher, buy a small tank 10g will do and paint or cover all the sides. its alot.

for now be happy and enjoy watching the male tend the nest and let nature take its coarse. and read read read. check out mofib.com

My clowns have been laying eggs religiously every 11-13 days for the past five years. As stated, the first two weeks are time intensive and the most critical time for the fry. Can it be done? Absolutely yes. Are you prepared for it this time around? Without coming off arrogant or negative, no. Just realistic. Your time would be better spent preparing for the next clutch of eggs. If it happened once, it'll happen again. Before you know it, it'll be happening on a regular schedule and the quantity of eggs will be more than you can possibly handle. So don't fret about letting this first batch become a smorgasboard for the rest of your tankmates.

Great read! Thanks for the info. Obviously i am not ready for this... Too bad... Had no idea it was so involved. Nothing like fresh water livebearers.
