Hello,
Two weekends ago I added an emporer angel to my FOWLR. There was a little squabbling between him and a purple tang but all seemed to settle down. Well last night I found the angel seriously injured so I moved him into another tank. The angel's right side bore the brunt of the attack. Both pectoral fins are severly damaged, and his tail and dorsal fins and scales (right side of body) are moderatley damaged. His right eye is also a bit cloudy.
The damage to his pectoral fins, especially the right fin has me very worried. What can I do he help these injuries heal? Can any medication be added to the water to relieve some pain and aid in recovery? I remember using Pimafix or Melafix in a fresh water tank for fin damage. Would either of these be useful for a marine tank? Any suggestions would be well aprreciated.
