Sorry to poach the OPs thread. But how hard is it to breed these guys?

Because i have a Skunk Cleaner pair, and the larger one ( female) spawns every 2 week like clockwork.

today:eggs are laid (light green/olive in color
5-7 days : eggs start to darken to a brown, then a day or 2 after you can see eyes
Usually she spawns in the next 2-3 days (no eggs on her, and a nice feast for the tank).
Then the next 2-3 days new clutch, and it starts all over again.

Well i have never been able to time the spawn till yesterday, and i managed to scoop out about 10 of them from the tank b4 they were eaten by my Yellow Coris Wrasse.

i now have them in a fishbowl, and every 2-3 hours i pull about 50% of the water out and add water from my display take.

my question is , what do these lil guys eat?

I have a butt load in my tank and in my sump they just scavange in the tank but i will put a litle bit ov veggie pellets in the sump. I have a rubble corner in the front side of the tank for them to take shelter in. I can see at least 3 different age groups in there. If your shrimps are still going at it start a rubble pile with lots of nooks for them to hide in. Next time you catch a spawn turn the lights off and the flow down to give them a chance to find shelter.

yea, but i have heard and read that for a stage in the beginning of their lives , and for a few sheds they will be free floating in the water like zooplanton (this "stage" can be a few months.). Lol in my tank with my Yellow Coris Wrasse they don't stand a change floating around for that long to even get to a rumble pile. But i do have a rubble pile and i know there are a few shrimp in there that have escaped the many hungry mouths.

PS: If you have any pest priblems in your tank get a Yelloy Coris Wrasse , OMG they are top notch marine exterminators. ( not good for baby shrimps, but you get the idea)
