Well guys here is the deal. About 2 weeks ago i adopted 2 fish that were getting abused by a Wrasse in a friend's tank.
I did a bit of reading and saw that Maroom Clows can be a bit aggressive with other clowns. So i put the smaller Skunk in first, to maybe get a lil headstart on the tanks layout . Then in went the Maroon.
FIRST OFF I HAVE TO SAY TO NOOBS GETTING MAROOM CLOWNS , THEY ARE DIGGERS!![Eek! ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

Ok on with business. for the most part the Maroon was on one side of my 55g FOWLR and the Skunk was on the other side. They only mixed when feeding and still no fighting.
But about a week ago the Skunk started hanging out in the middle of the tank, made a small scrape in the sand at the base of a piece of dead Brain Coral. And after a few days of just watching the tank. I noticed that the Skunk would swim from the scrape over to the Maroon clown, does this weird lil swim/display.Then heads back to the scrape ( the distance between the 2 points is about a foot) . I guess he wanted her to follow.:inlove:
Well as of yesterday , Guess who is also hanging out over at the scrape by the braincoral
Yep. The Maroon Clown and the Skunk Clown. They seem to do everything together now.:inlove:?
No eggs yet. But i'm honestly not capable of rearing fry right now anyway. But i was just curious if anyone has seen the result of these 2 Clowns breeding?
Few pix, i'm in the middle of a Algea bloom, so excuse the glass. My snails have been working overtime trying to keep it under controle.
Him swimming to her and flasing his side.
Then heading back to his scrape.
few other pix
i'm trying to get a video up , but everytime i get near the tank they spook, or think i'm going to feed them and they head to the top of the tank.
So as soon as i clean the tank, and can get a clear video i'll post.
Might have to set up a blind like thoes Wildlife Videographers on NGC!
