will a dogface puffer eat snails/hermit crabs

My mother has a dogface puffer she wants snails and hermit crabs. will the puffer eat these also will it eat an anenome or hairy mushrooms? sorry for all the questions. newbie here:lol:

Have your mom look at this pic. This poor anemonie went in the puffers tank temporarily and this is what happened to it within seconds.

And here is the puffer that did the damage...

As you can see by the betta he wasn't all the big either...
