Hi:

I am very tempted to get this fish in the juvi form. Do any of you keep this fish in a softie tank? I have mostly mushrooms, paly, zoos and xenia in my tank.

Thanks

Yili

Angels like to pick at rocks.
I have a Koran angel and the only coral items I keep in the tank are mushrooms, leathers and xenia. I put a feather duster in the tank and he went straight at it. Albeit though there are smaller feather dusters that he leaves alone. He does not pick on those, however I would be more afraid of putting in zoas into the tank. Anything that looks like a worm can be a potential meal. So I wouldn't risk anything else.

it's one of the "safer" large angels. I had one for a while...LPS, SPS, Clams were left untouched but he had a healthy appetite for zoanthids. It now resides in Randy's "prattreef".

Based on my experience, it would be fine in a "stony" tank but would probably do some damage in a "softy" tank.

I agree with this assessment. BTW, it no longer resides there:(
