Not sure if this thread belongs here -

Borbonius I've had for almost a year now (healthy throughout the whole time, no problems) all of a sudden became extremely reclusive for couple of days. I thought not much of it till I saw it today.

It has a huge bubble over one of its eyes - clear, but almost 2x ~ 3x the size of his good eye. Is this same as a pop-eye? *Only reason I ask is because I can clearly see its eyeball(?) at a normal size inside double layers of the oversized bubble. I can't think of what could've triggered this... and I'm kinda sick to my stomach about it since I've had this fish for so long - any help would be appreciated...

I was thinking of catching it and releasing the build up w/ a needle... but is that even the right thing to do in this situation? I'm getting a new batch of SW ready for a w/c but I feel uneasy just not doing much more.

Ok - gonna keep the water clean and pray that it clears on its own. Someone on another board recommended antibiotic food; anyone know of such things? brand name and etc?

dont bother with garlic extreme.. go to the supermarket.. buy a bottle of minced garlic in oil for $2. squeeze it out of the bottle with a spoon.. its the same thing... when empty.. fill it up with water and shake.. poof.. brand new bottle of garlic.. been using the same bottle for 2 years. Same exact thing you are going to pay 15$ for.. except.. 1/100 fraction of the price.
