Saprolegnia Fungus.

Iv been doing some research and i THINK this is what my true perc clown has. It has a wierd white patch of what looks like some type of fungus on its skin, near the tail. It matches the description of Saprolegnia Fungus. The website says to treat it with Forma Green. Anybody have any experience with this fungus or treatment for it? I would get pics but the fish is always moving to fast to get a clear one. If its not that its one large spot of ich.. but its only this one spot so i dont think its ich.

Saprolegnia Fungus I believe is only for FW fish. Do you have a picture?

Also from your description ii sounds like lymphocystis.

Well that sounds worse... guess i better setup a quarentine tank and start treating it as best i can.

If you fish has lympho just feed him some healthy food with garlic and improve your water conditions and he should fine.
