Mine do that on the occasion and they have been in my tank together for over 6 months. Never saw them fight before or after, in fact they are usually inseperable. I asked someone a while back about it. They said they thought it was a mating thing. Not sure if thats true or not.

yeah they are always together and i noticed this a couple of days ago i looked for torn fins or even fight marks and nothing so im figuring they are not fighting .just curious.
