great.. I am getthing this wrasse cause I have some pyramid snails.. it seems any type of wrasse helps to control them..
I have a 50 gallons tank with watchman govy and a blenny.. they should be compatible right....??

never had a problem with mine, but i dnt have featherdusters either, never bothered a coral lps or sps, i have 3 other wrasse's and a tang and a gobie and never bothered any of the fish

had no problems with mine. keep the lid on tho. mine jumped last week after i walked away after feeding. it was my fav fish. :(

lesson learned. keep that lid tight! in the market for a replacement. i still feel bad.

thanks for the info.. ok im gonna give it a try and I do have a cover ..;) ..
I know pyramid snails are nocturnal but I have seen a few during the day so I hope this wrasse helps me controlling them...:)

They do seem to require a fairly deep sand bed. Im not sure if its a requiirement but mine was always sleeping and darting into the sand

Yes, they definitely require a sand bed of 2 - 3 inches.

Javier - do you have a sandbed deeper than the one that appears in your gallery? Would be a problem if yours is only an inch or so.

Like many of the others, I adore my Halichoeres, but mine did munch on my feather dusters...he's made up for it though with tons of personality!

oh wow .. beautiful...!!!!!!! well I will need to add more sand.. I have like 1 inch... can I just get live sand and put in the tank? will this cause any problem? ammonia spikes? cycling again?
