Shy Anthias

Had my Blotched Anthias since Friday from Live Aquaria and it wants to come to the front but hides in the back but I believe it's eating but can't see it well from the back.The Sunburst is not eating at all but alive for now.How can I get these shy fish to come out?I have no bullies in my tank.

This is normal in the beginning for these type of anthias. The Blotched Anthias is a deepwater fish hence it will be shy and apprehensive for a few weeks.

do you have any fish the blotched can fit in his mouth?

lemme know if he eats them i heard rumors but i dont wanna believe them and eventaully want to add one to my tank as well

This is completely normal.

especially normal for a solo anthias.they normally hang out in harems w/ a male keeping a few females proected. Also anthias in general eat small amounts very frequently so you may have some work on your hands if they are not eating
