Im interested in breeding my saddlebacks, I have a pair that I assume is spawning because I see the male doing the "clown dance", but I have some other fish in the tank.....another pair of menuopolus clowns (juvi's), a blue damsel, lopez tang, 2 chromis, and 2 striped damsels, sebae anenome and a bta, my question is will the fry survive or should I take all e 1st the fish out???? If by chance they do, I hear the 1st 2 weeks are critical, does anyone have tips or experience?

This help? When I saw a Frank Marini presentation about breeding and raising fry, basically he said it was best to take out the prospective parents and have them brred in a seperate tank. And to basically take out the parents after the fry come out of their eggs. that way you can flood the tank with naupalii and ensure the first foods are nutritious and there is no real competition for the food, and no predation of the fry.
