My experience is they are pacers and some dont seem to acclimate well to an aquarium. Mine just wouldnt stop going from side to side. I think my 110 was too small for him and he didnt make it

I agree with the others. Tangs need a lot of swimming room and a 6' tank should be the minimum considering all the other fish you have in the tank including the purple.

I have a 4' 90g tank and I have two tangs.A Hippo and a Orange shoulder and are doing great.Had the Hippo for one year now.They do like a lot of rock work and feel at home in a reef environment.I do not plan on getting anymore tangs however.
