hey yall. i have 1 saddle back and one ocellaris that seem not to care about each other during the day but when the lights go out they sometimes dance with/around each other. i want to get a second saddle back for my other but i was wondering what might happen. i have a 29 gallon btw.

Not an awful plan:) Just stick around after the introduction as it could happen fast :(

If you are going to QT the new fish, you might try introducing it to your current saddleback when the QTing is done and see if they get along. If they don't, it sure beats having to get the unwelcome fish out of your reef :)

probe you could also keep all 3 clowns separated in a holder on side of the tank and wait a little bit and do a pretend acclimation and introduce them all at once - that may help and strengthen your chances of them all getting along.

Warning. The two saddlebacks may not get along either. Mixing clowns are hit or miss so for the sake of the fish. Have a back up plan.

yeah i can put the domino in my tank and he still chases everyone around... even though dominos are my fav fish, he may have to see the exit. i think he must have seen his parents fight a lot or something cause the fish is straight wild....

Damsels are the devil.

I would pull the old saddle back out of the display tank. Get the smallest saddle back clown you can, to assure it is male as the larger old Saddle Bag, ...um I mean female... ... um.... anyway... introduce the two together in a separate tank to make sure they get along. If everything works out introduce them into your display tank together.

I would then pull the domino, introduce the ocelleris and then put the domino back in a week.
