Anybody here know of the sea goblin??? I think they are cool fish but I've heard that their venom is fatal to humans??? If it is I don't think it would make a good tank mate. I think they get up to 8 inch in size.

Sorry, here is the clarification, I've heard that the sea goblin's venom is much more potent than other fish and can kill you and I wanted to make sure of this info. Thanks

I've kept them before. They are venomous. They will eat anything that fits in their mouth. Very cool though. They like to bury themselves in the sand so if you do not have a deep sand bed or plenty of open space, I wouldn't get one. They differ from most scorpion fish in that most species of scorpion fish like to live amongst the reef rock and coral. The Sea Goblin likes to bury itself into the sand similiar to a crocodile fish and ambush its pray that way.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.
