Porcupine Puffer not eating!

I have a 120gal. FOWLR and have a big porcupine Puffer for about a year now and lately he isn't eating. I usually feed him Krill which he eats quickly now I can put the krill in front of his mouth and nothing. I have UV sterilizer hooked up all water parameters are fine he is the only fish not eating, my clowns, Blue Throat Trigger, wrasse, blenny, all eating well. What can I do. I even tried the garlic.

Try some other food. Also don't get overly worried that a fish stop eating for a day or two. It's quite common for some fish to stop eating for a little while.

Have you tried anything else like clams, squid etc ?
I use to buy the frozen clams on a shell from House of fins
and my puffers loved them. Try feeding him something to
like that.

still not eating as much as he used to doesn't eat the clams. the krill he used to go crazy for any other recommendations

Had the same problem, not sure if eating is usually a problem with this species, but mine went some 2 months without eating, and inevidibly dying. I tried everything

I think puffers need to be fed inverts with hard shells to help them sand down their teeth. If not their teeth will grow too large for them to use. I'm not sure if this applies but it happens often to puffers.

I tried feeding the little neck baby back clams but my puffer was never a big fan. I think I will do a water change see if something can spark him back up. Maybe I should try some prawn.

Let it be for a week or two and don't offer any food. You are only stressing him at this point. Try after two weeks with small portion.
