Well it had to happen, every fish i have bought has been in a qt tank for a while then added to the display, and it had to be that a damn hippo tang started to get ick and i'm having some issues. I got most of the fish out out but the rest are at risk, what should i use in the qt tank, copper. please let me know, my other problem is that my qt tank is only a 30 gallon and i have alot of fish

Perhaps you can borrow an extra tank from someone & divide the fish into 2 tanks to treat, thereby reducing extra stress from overcrowding?

If the ich is just showing up you could treat with hyposalinity.
If they are bad already, I would suggest the use of a copper treatment instead. You need to get Chleated copper and also get a test kit so that you are SURE you are administering the proper doseage!!

If at all possible please add an airline & airstone to the tank/s as ich & it's treatment is tough on the gills..and that is where ich does it's killing.
