Look at the 3rd picture on fishbase and the description - the range, depth, etc.

Definitely a Pulcherrimus/randalli complex fish, not ventralis/hawaiiensis.

Oh okay.. But they do look a lot brighter in real life.. like purple Bartlets..

Very sad news everyone.
The female managed to jump out of the tank (who knew anthias were jumpers).
There was a 2" gap in the back of the tank, and I found her a good 5 feet from the tank.

REally a shame.
