I went with my friend to his country house in PA and a local petstore just got a shipment and were putting in this guy as we arrived.. they said it was the first time they got this fish... they said its called daffodil.. Anyone know the proper name?

If the pectoral "fins" were long and tubular and less like "fins" it sounds like it is a yellow Brotula like Randy said. Cave dwellers, and as far as I know a less than satisfactory record in captivity. BTW the only Daffodil I know of is the african cichlid.

I found info by messing with brutula in google - It also goes by Yellow eel goby, and Brotulina Fusca... There isn't very much info on them but so far I've read there are types that live in caves and some that live around reefs, they seem to have a bad appetite also.. Thanks everyone i'll do my research now!
