Lineatus Wrasse Missing

Help! I haven't seen him since Saturday the 12th and not even Misis will lure him out. I have:

Purple Tang
Hippo Tang
Pair of Fairy Wrasses
1 Yellow Coris Wrasse
1 Cleaner Wrasse
Pair of Odd Percs
1 Bi-Color Blenny
1 Cardinal

I know they are prone to hide for days at a time but I don't know what to think. Is he gone forever or is he missing for the time being?

How long have you had him? Is the tank really well covered? What species are the other fairy wrasses?

< ws going to ask the same thing. check all around on the ground around tank, in the over flow. and even though flasher's are peaceful they will beat down another wrasse if they have been in the tank awhile

I was watching my tank and my flasher wrasse jumped right out of the tank in front of me and onto the carpet. Incredibly, he jumped right through the eggcrate (light diffuser) cover I had on top of the tank. I wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it. I don't know how he fit through it. I scooped him up with a net and put him back in the tank. No new flights have been scheduled for this week (that I am aware of). I need a better top.

I have a pair of Hawaiian Flames, how did I forget? lol....I no longer have a carpet and it is covered by a canopy but not glass tops. "Flasher"- Are you referring to the cleaner wrasse?

no flasher as in flasher wrasse.

yes flashers are fairy wrasse's. you dont happen to have a 6 line wrasse do you ?

Sorry, Flashers = Paracheilinus sp. , Fairies= Cirrhilabrus sp.

Related , but not the same.

sorry, ya know what i meant, they might act aggressive towards each other being same shape and size, and similar in color

no six line wrasse and no flashers, just fairy's, a coris and cleaner wrasse
