Whats up i bout a pair of maroon clown fish a few days ago they where doing fine but today the female clown fish went to the bottom of the tank while the male went on his own swimming around the tank. Then the night came and the female fish still did not come out of the botton of the tank and the male went up to the top of the tank to sleep. They always whould go to sleep together but not tonight.:irked:

It would help if you gave some more information on your tank and water parameters. Do you have any other fish ? Did you quarantine these fish ?

Hey how are you? It would be more helpful too give us a little more info on your tank! Were they swimming together when you first put them in? Is the female breathing heavely? Is the male pushing her away or stressing her out?

maybe they had an argument and don't want to sleep together for a while.
is the female swimming at the bottom?I have a mated pair and they kind of togther but not always the male (smaller one) is usually the one that takes care of the home while the bigger one roams around.
