Is it normal for a Clown Yellow Goby to nip SPS?

Not biting as to have pcs of the sps gone but he did nip around the sps.

May be this SPS is releasing slime after the transport and the goby is curious.

I will try to take a pic when it happens again.

Yes, they will try to eat the polyps of SPS now and then
Completely normal, it will stress the coral temporarily. May be an issue if you only have a few SPS corals, but not a big issue if you have lots of colonies for them to switch back and forth.

they live in coral in the wild. they do not hurt it.
just enjoy them and let them do their thing
