blue hippo broken fins

I have purchased 3 fishes in 3 different occasion and ended with split, broken fins or part of fins, the fins normally heal and in no time the fins regrow, except for my blue hippo. His fins are split, missing pieces. He is the biggest and only one in my tank.
What can I do?

MAke sure no one is picking on him in the tank. it should grow back in time as long as no one is stressing him out in the tank and picking at him.

You can also use Stress coat to speed up healing.

Teach him fish fu and get him a good medical group plan??

stresscoat in saltwater will only make your skimmer go nuts and kill your carbon. If it looks infected give him a dip in an antibiotic or antifungal and feed him a good source of proteins and HUFAs like mysis dosed. They should heal with time if the fish is healthy and unstressed.
