What are your water parameters and are there any fish in the tank that could be a little nasty that might have chased him out?

everything is where it should be at. i have 6 fish.. RG, 6LW, pink diamond goby, hippo tang and the clowns... maybe the tang, but when the lights go out the tang goes in this whole and doesnt move till the lights come on. so i think he was just messing around and jumped

6 line wrasses get very mean. Any other jumpers? Have you tested your disolved oxygen level? Low tank O2 can be a stressor of fish if everything is "where it should be"

i hear ya, but the only active fish at night were the clowns and thats kinda, all the other would just fit in a rock and pass out and the clown chilled at the top

The same thing happened to me. I had two clownfishes getting along fine for more than 1 year and one day one of clownfishes decided to jump out of the tank. I found him all dried up the next day. What I can't understand is I had a glass canopy on the tank with a small opening in the back. I think it would br pretty difficult to jump out. But not impossible.
