Ive come to learn that tank raised clowns take longer to host...b/c they have to learn how to host...good luck

Ive had my clowns since october and no hosting yet. Ive had a sabea anemone(1 month),now a bubble tip(3 weeks), and always had frog spawn, hammer, torch, mushrooms, and leathers...

I have a RBTA and I added a maroon clown, he hosted it half hour after I put him in the tank!!

After reseaching online, I remember finding a site that shows which clowns host what kind of anemone ... this might be the easiest way for you to have your clowns host an anemone, to figure out which anemone they usually host in nature. I hope this helps.

Some are lucky enought that there clowns host anemones. I have maroon clowns and a tomato clown and none want to host the GBTA or my Green Carpet Anemone.
Thanks for the link Dane.

I have heard a strange sounding way to coax them into hosting, you need to find a pic of same clowns hosting similar anenome and tape it to the side of the tank near where the clowns chill, sounds silly but from what I hear it works, cant hurt anyways.
