All inverts are out except my nasaures snails. I cant catch them but do still see them sometimes slither by in the rockwork.

You nassarius snails must be this variety!

Just want to add, your main display also have to fishless for 6 weeks to 8 weeks. Inverts and corals are fine. Ick will die off in the display without a host.

how big was the display?

the display was a 90.
i was young and foolish and didnt know better. the ick came back cause i dont think it was completely eradicated. i realized ick is much more than what u can see with your nake eye. ick in some ways is like a cold n cancer.

just qt'ing the fish isnt going to solve the ick problem in the tank, any of you use uv's ? i dont have a problem in my tank but was thinking of putting one of the one's i have on my tank and running it on a timer for a couple of hour's a day
