Recommendations for small fish for my reef

I have an Oceanic 40L reef & would like to add some small fish to my tank. Currently I have:

3" purple firefish
2" firefish
1" Yellow Watchman Goby
2.5" Sixline wrasse
2" Skunk cleaner shrimp
2" CB Shrimp
4" Purple Reef Lobster
Misc snails & hermits

I was thinking of adding some false perculas in hopes that they would host in my frogspawn.

If you have a sand bed, I would recommend a pair of yellow head jawfish. They have a lot of personality.

id say a pair of clowns or any blenny almost or gobies, eventually this combo

4" Purple Reef Lobster
Misc snails & hermits
are going to kill each other and more than likely the lobster is going to come out ahead, i just read also if you keep only 1 lobster they stay smaller adding a second they get alot larger

What about one of the basselets? Those are some nice fish.

Jawfish are great, but you really need 4" of mixed grade sand. If you have that, then go for it.

I would not add more than 1 Purple Reef Lobster as I believe they are solitary & not same species compatible. If you get some chromis, they will add movement to the tank. Good luck

Kinda wanted to stay away from chromsis & damsels. I was looking at

Redlip Blenny
Pearly Jawfish
Blue Spot Jawfish

I do have 60lbs sand in my 40L

Nice choices. If you get a shrimp goby you could try pairing it up with a pistol shrimp. This relationship is quite amusing.

I vote,

for the pair of the yellow headed jawfish, if you have the sand bed for them.

(They do wacky/cool stuff, like steal pieces of small coral from each other).
