I recently introduced three black false percula's to my 125 LR tank. During same time I removed my true percula and false percula and placed them in my refugium. The false percula was showing agression to the smaller black's when I first introduced them.

My question is this, by removing the true and false and giving the black false perucula's time to get use to the tank can I later reintroduce the old residents? By removing a resident for awhile will they go back to their terriorial ways?

thanks, James

i have a 125 and in it there are 2 black onyx, 2 true percs ( who r laying eggs like crazy), and 4 b n w clowns. the 2 true percs have their territory and are the leaders and the 2 small black onyx get beat up by everything else but they all sorta stay in their areas and leave each other alone. they are all pretty big besides the 2 small ones so i dont think things will change. the only change i would make is getting rid of two of my b and w's because they dont seem happy with their area. but i had to go through a couple different kindof clowns before this homeostasis was achieved. no matter what i did when i had maroons nothing would help. so u might want to change things up by trading fish in if things dont work the way they r for u. personally it sounds like if u have an agressive fish it will always be that way until its "dethroned". but this has only been my experience.
