Is this possible?

There advertising white tip, grey tip, tiger and i think zebra sharks, all in the 2,000-3,000 range. Whos gonna keep a tiger shark? or any of these sharks?

This could be the most rediculous example of finance over ethics I've seen. They must know anyone buying this fish beyond an aquarium will eventually have this fish die, or get rid of it, with no other possibilities.

Personally I think it disgusting and sad

They're not selling a true "Tiger" shark but a shark that has the same name. Nobody has a large enough tank for a real Tiger shark and you couldn't get one for that price anyway.

All the shark that they're selling are common in the hobby and unfortunately people have these sharks in their tanks.

one of our jobbers out in california has a source for baby tiger sharks. They would cost about the same but we aren't getting any for anyone's tank. They aren't doing anything illegal just irresponsible if they just sell to anyone who has the cash. Unfortunately irresponsibility isn't criminal itself.

As much as I love sharks, I would never think about having a tiger. A black tip shark, not so bad, I have one, however a tiger is ridiculous and yes I was also at fishtown and asked yesterday about the sign and they said they were true baby tigers.

i was there today. they have a remora shark real cheap in the 20 long. then they moved that exrta large pineapple trigger into the 20 long. real sad. it cant even stay str8!! it has to lay on an angle because its so big. they just got hawii in. they have 6 extra large achillies tangs in 1 damaged all not eating. they are at least 10 - 12 inches for 199$. they also got gold rim tangs. all except 2 are hurt lateral line erosion or a pop eye. they are not eating as well. sad real sad. none of these fish should have been brought in. oh yeah and about 200 yello9w tangs as well.

They sell anything these days. A few years ago, I was at a LFS in Long Island and they had for sell a Blue Ring Octopus. It was interesting seeing one in person.

Bonnet Heads or Hammer heads aren't that hard to get a hold of I used to know of a guy that could get them on a regular basis. 99% of aquarists have no business owning a shark and it isn't just because of tank size (even though that is the main reason). It's the irresponsible sale and even more irresponsible purchase that makes us all look bad.

So I went to fishtown and asked them about this after I saw the sign. The guy told me someone had a bought a reef tip to put in his 960gallon setup. I told him that was absurd, I just dont feel people should do this sort of thing.
