Does anyone have any info on this fish? I tried looking all-over online and couldn't find any useful info on it. I want to know if it can be kept with aggressive fish. Thanks!

It's from the Red Sea, Japan and sometimes Bali. The fish doesn't show up that often partly because it's very large, about 18"-20" range. Smaller ones don't have a lot of color, which is why you don't see them that often for Sale. Smaller ones from the Bali area do have more color at smaller sizes, even then the fish is about 6"-8".

The fish does need a good size tank, not less than 6' and about 180+. It's eat things in the sand and will push around the sand looking for food, you can't keep it with inverts as it mostly will eat them.

It shouldn't be placed with any very aggressive fish as it can be easily bullied. That would include any groupers, triggers or eels. It can be a very shy fish, even at larger sizes. Way less aggressive than a Haq. Tusk, even though it's get a lot larger.

If you remember I have a small one in my 90gal reef tank. I use to have a very large one in my 260gal but it couldn't take the grouper that I placed in the tank, even though the grouper didn't even brought it.

They are pretty expensive, $100+ for 6"-8", which doesn't usually have a lot of color. Larger ones, with a lot of color, usually are $150 - $200 range.

I had a Harlequin Tusk (Indo) that only lasted me a good 6 months b4 it died of no apparent reason; I believe in was CYANIDE caught. I will most likely give this new guy a try (picking it up tomorrow).

It wouldn't have lasted 6 month if it was collected with Cyanide. It would have either died much sooner or made it and live for a long time.
