here is a stock shot of a Powder brown. I wonder if the Powder Brown is actually a Hybrid. traits that start out as a recessive gene but through natural selection became stringer & dominant....:scratchch

It actually looks like a powder brown.

absolutely not a powder brown. there is no yellow sweeping up into the dorsal from the back.
this is a classic and beautiful example of an achilles/nigricans hybrid. congratulations on the find.

yes it is a hybrid of an achilles and a gold rim. look at the back fin it's orange like the achillies. nice find ireef. did you buy that?
