My female maroon clown has an eye infection i think. Can anyone help me out?

Well the first thing you should do is get it out of your main tank and put it in a hospital tank. It looks like it has pop-eye its a fungal infection. Go to your local pet store and but medication for pop-eye disease Marycyn 2 i believe it is. Dont wait too long as the disease is contagious. Hope your fish gets better

Get some garlic guard and soak it's food in it. It may help fight the infection by boosting the imune system.

Im a upset. lost the fish this morn. This fish was like 5 years old. Was in a tank for a very long time. he broke down the tank. gave the pair (mated) to my buddy at LFS. then kid who did not know what he was doing split the pair, then we put them back together, then into my tank. I think the stress did it. The Male looks lonely now. I have to find a larger maroon now to pair up with the male.

sorry that your clown died. the same thing happened to my copper band. I tried treating it but it's eyesight did not come back. now I'm taking care of a healthy but blind butterfly fish :arg:
