not that thats the least of my concern's, she had already put it in the tank. 2 months down the road i wouldnt have cared so much cause i am switching tanks and could have left this as only animal in tank and took all the rock out which would leave it a nice foot print to swim in. but now after having to turn ph off twice cause it got stuck to it

I would go to the store she bought it at and raise hell for selling it to someone who shouldn't have gotten it in the first pace. If the employees aren't asking the right questions and figuring out what tank you have they aren't doing their job. If they refuse to take it back threaten to let everyone know what they did. I am always amazed when someone lets this crap happen (at the store's end). I would bring it back ASAP and if she used a credit card you could also threaten to dispute the charges.

Also, I just noticed the blue spine on it's tail be very careful with this one it could be very venomous. If it's just the picture I wouldn't worry but if it is in fact blue try to keep it very calm if you have to handle it.

devious, did you not read MY WIFE BOUGHT THIS, AND IT WAS ALREADY IN THE TANK WHEN I GOT HOME. and reefman ny aquarium is too far away from me. lfs the store has a no return policy on live stock. so basically my wife is out of $$$ i dont buy from this store as it is. and the other lfs id give it to is closed. so my options are slim to not much

Do you have any large rubbermaid containers lying around and some extra sand? You could put it in there with a gentle powerhead overnight until tomorrow when the other lfs is open. Though I agree with lfsmarineguy - I'd go the store your wife got the ray at and raise hell for selling it so irresponsibly.
But, on the other hand, at least your wife is trying to support your hobby. :happysad: Tell her next time to get you a really nice coral.

as a matter of fact she did acclimate it, she knew how from watching me, as far as looking or not looking for a response from people, kinda figured i would get one, maybe a hey i can take it for you or i know someone who has a tank big enough. ect

You are going to do no matter what advice is given..
so good luck to the poor creature & your fishies / invertabrates = Good luck to the Ray which is a wrong size tank & is getting stuck to powerheads. Also good luck to your fishies & invertabrates because that's what Rays eat.
Now if you figured you would have gotten a "maybe a hey i can take it for you or i know someone who has a tank big enough. ect" you would not have posted in riddles & would have stated that in your initial post, or even post in the correct forum, like the "F/S F/T: forum.
I can move it there if you like...
