I earlier began a post due to the infection that has spread from a purchase that I will regret for ever. I had a young established seahorse/pipe fish tank for babies and juveniles... Everything was great until I bought some juvi alligator pipefish that were sick with some white dots. It is only on the dorsal fins which currently is treatable but feel like these fish are too fragile to handle any heavy sicknesses.
they were in quarantine for few days where their bodies were not fully visible. But when they were placed into a main system I found that their fins were teribly infected with these white lines, dots.....Velvet or ick, it is fine. I am not mad or sad. This is a great experience of learning how treat sick fish with out copper.
