ok i know shoould have done research more, but i couldnt find this wrasse anywhere online. lfs said it was safe. so before i drop it in my tank idea's ? ty rick

this is not a chisel tooth wrasse....
THis is from the coris family...
Very hard to keep since they only thrive on microorganisms from th live rock..
Good luck with this great fish...


Though i might be wrong...

i dont think it is a chisle tooth either, ive searched all over and cant find it. it's been eating brine and mysis shrimp and well as krill and anything else i put in tank here's another pic. any help is appriciated

100% Pseudodax moluccanus, aka chiseltooth wrasse
Very far removed from the coris group, might snap on a shrimp or two, but shouldn't pose any major problems.
