Another of the Lightning Strike maroon clowns has surfaced from Papua New Guinea. It arrived in the States on 3-28-10.

I even think it's his daughter's pic! Way to go Dave.

I think what you guys really need is a photographer to go along on the collecting trips. You know photos of the habitat - it would really help the fish sell for more money :)

It is a very cool fish, and that's a great picture!

One of the not-so-hot pictures circulating was mine, taken on the run in less than ideal conditions, It was never intended to circulate so widely...lol...ah the Internet!

By the way, Blue Zoo announced last night that the fish went to Mathew Pedersen. You can follow the fish's progress at Matt's blog:

Enjoy!

I think you are confusing the Dave's. The above Dave buys PNG fish and runs PAF. The other Dave, Dave V, is the one that runs SeaSmart ;)

I didn't mean to knock your shot Ret :) It's hard to get great shots in the field sometimes, even in a facility.

Lol....didn't feel knocked at all...it was dripping humid, my cameras were still the temp of the air-conditioned vehicle and I was late for a National Fisheries meeting. :)

I too love the other shot. Just thought I'd share another.

We should chat about Meme sometime.
